The remarkable story of how one man’s determination and sweat created the most significant running event in the world, Run for Your Life documents the inspirational life of Fred Lebow and the history of the New York City Marathon.

When Fred Lebow was diagnosed with brain cancer in the early 1990s, he combined his great passion for running with the efforts to find a cure. Against all the odds, Fred Lebow ran his final New York City Marathon while encouraging friends and family to raise money for finding a cure.  His legacy lives on today with thousands of runners raising money for the cure when they run the New York City Marathon.  Screen Media is pleased to honor Fred’s legacy by donating 20% of the sales of all Run For Your Life DVDs purchased here to SU2C through November 1, 2010.
