I think it's ironic that SUTC has a tribute to Judah Folkman on this site. Thirty years ago, he was laughed off by the very establishments SUTC is proposing to support. Thank goodness for his courage and conviction in the face of all the obstacles he faced. He is one of the big reasons we are creating more cancer survivors than fatalities.
too add to that irony, there are now inovative promising therapies for cancer care that are supressed. How is it that all the diseases known to man are never cure. Oh they can be and sometimes very easily. Pharma makes billions a year treating disease not cureing there is no money in a cure. In order for our dream teams to really cure cancer we have to take special interest out of our way. We have to focus on one goal and that is too cure cancer. A list here are the approaches that should be looked at.
1. radio wave and nano partical insertion and obstruction of tumors. Kanius
2. immuno therapy should really be a focal point going forward.
3. gene therapy and stem cell therapy
4. research how one clears cancer from the body with no therapy
