Drive Away Cancer Coast to Coast to Coast Challenge
18 states, 5800 miles, coast to coast to coast, solo and non-stop. Why? Because a sixty year old British car shot with rust is the perfect metaphor for people living with cancer. Imperfect? Of course, but with effort, luck and hope all things are possible. There are those that can but choose not to and there are those that wish they could but cannot. Never ever give up. Please help us Drive Away Cancer and support us as we drive a 1953 Austin Healey 100 from coast to coast and back as we drive away cancer one mile at a time. When no alternatives are left, just get in the car and drive. There ain't no turn that I can't hold and the road is rough this I know, but I'll be there when the light comes in, just tell em we're survivors.
Alone in the car but not on the roadAugust 02, 2011 11:11 AM
While the driver may be alone in the car, he'll have the support of more than 25 British car clubs and three nationwide marque clubs as we make the Drive Away Cancer Challenge. Thanks to everyone for their support.

The road ends at Russo & Steele!August 02, 2011 11:11 AM
The end of the Drive Away Cancer Coast to Coast to Coast Challenge has been selected thanks to the wonderful people at Russo & Steele Auctions. Drew Alcazar and his great staff have allowed us to finish on his stage at the opening night of the Russo & Steele Monterey Auction! Please attend, bid and buy, and help us celebrate the end of a long road but the beginning of a new life for people fighting cancer.
