Team Blake: In Honor Of My Friend, Wilson Holloway

Friends since we were 12 years old, Wilson Holloway was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. We lost him at age 22 to Hodgkin’s lymphoma, just before the 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend. We were high school basketball teammates and won two state championships together. I dedicated my All-Star Weekend to Wilson, and his family, as a lasting tribute. I cherish that he was able to watch most of my games, even when he was sick. Wilson always maintained a positive attitude and kept smiling. I'm really going to miss him, but I know he's in a better place and still watching.
